Privacy Policy
Your inner world stays yours.
- Publicly anonymous, privately authenticated: inside Sognia you appear only as an auto-generated anonymous name (Sognia-XXXXXXXX). You sign in with your Google or Apple account so your account stays safe and recoverable; we receive basic account information from that provider (such as an email address — which may be an Apple private-relay address if you use Hide My Email). Your provider identity is never shown publicly and is never attached to your public Sognia identity.
- Your original dream and manifest text is PRIVATE. It is never shown publicly and is only processed to generate your reading.
- Anything public (feed cards, map previews, social handles) is either explicitly shared by you or an automatically sanitized, privacy-safe version — never your raw text. Social handles stay private unless you turn on the public toggle yourself.
- Optional details (birth year, gender) are optional, are never shown publicly and are never linked to your public Sognia identity. A birth year is used for age eligibility — Sognia is strictly 18+. Any use for personalisation is limited to a coarse, anonymous age band. We never collect or store your full date of birth.
- AI processing happens server-side with established providers; your text is sent only to produce your reading and is not used to build advertising profiles.
- Ads, on free accounts only. Sognia Pro shows no ads. On a free account, ads are delivered by Google AdMob: to deliver them, measure them and protect them against fraud and abuse, Google receives your device's advertising identifier and the technical data that accompanies an ad request. Sognia does not build an advertising profile of you. Your dream and manifest text, your readings and your generated images are never sent to any advertising provider and are never used to target ads. In Europe and the UK we ask for your advertising choice before any ad is requested, and you can change it at any time. On iPhone and iPad, Sognia does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the advertising identifier Apple gates behind it, so ads there are not personalised.
